Work watch, heavy duty, leak free, good time keeper.
I have a serious problem destroying watches. This one can take a beating. The crystal is recessed and will help avoid smashing it during work or motorcycle riding. I have destroyed two watches while unfortunately dumping my motorcycles. It happens when you ride as much as I do. Not the most comfortable, but gets better after several days of wearing it, the band has to break in and mold to your wrist. Another problem I have had with watches is water leakage and poor time keeping over a period of months. This one doesn't leak and keeps perfect time. If you are as rugged as I am, this watch is good. The watch is big, so if you have a dainty wrist, I would think twice. Has a light so good for dark nights. I have a serious problem destroying watches. This one can take a beating. Its an awesome watch.
Its an awesome watch, more than met my expectations :), would buy another one in a heartbeat. It has a very clear and easy to read face, and the function buttons are also very easy to follow. Its simple to set up and to change any of the settings. The only thing I find that could improve is the night time, darkness, display, its fairly difficult to make out and could definitely be a lot brighter, other than that I am very happy with this watch.Its an awesome watch, more than met my expectations :), would buy another one in a heartbeat. Great Looking, Durable, and Tough Watch.
I love this watch. It has lived up to the G-Shock name. I was a bit worried about the analog movement keeping accurate time since I am always working outside. I spent the entire weekend torture testing this watch (hammering nails, digging 6-foot deep post-holes, mixing and pouring concrete, splitting firewood). Even with all of these high impact activities, the watch didn't lose a second. The compass works very well too. Really easy to read with the second hand pointing North. It is nice to have a watch that looks this good and also performs flawlessly. I would highly recommend to any outdoorsman.I love this watch. It has lived up to the G-Shock name. Solid Watch
First and foremost, it tells time. It has several features but not so many you can't use it due to the number of modes. The Temperature is a waste of time if you wear the watch, but take it off for 10 minutes and you get a fairly accurate reading. I quite like the compass and this is the main reason I purchased it. Works well, with not quite as much accuracy as a transit compass, but it's not made to be that. First and foremost, it tells time. It has several features but not so many you can't use it due to the number of modes. Rugged and stylish
Pros-Ruggedly attractive G-Shock complimented with an oversized case. Lots of features and feels like it’s built like a tank. Cons- I would like do see a better lighting system but it works well enough. Also, the watch could be improved by displaying the date and time digitally simultaneously rather than having to press the que button.
