Love The Series!!
In a recent move, my copy of this series somehow did not make it to my new home. It is one of my favorite series and in looking to buy it, I found the price here on eBay to be better than other places I looked to order it. It was somewhat hard to find which surprised me. I am grateful to now have it again.

A GOOD STORY ABOUT A BUSINESS PIONEER
MR Selfridge is an part true, part fictionalized biography of Harry Gordon Selfridge , who left Chicago in order to open an American style department store in London. The series was on PBS' MASTERPIECE so that speaks of the quality of the production. The series deals with the social attitudes of the early 1900"s. The lives of the family and employees are interesting, and you care about the characters. The story has a good mix of drama and comedy.

Great story
A retailler from the US came to London to build a huge store. For 3 seasons life was great. In the 4th season his life of gambling, woman,and investments pulled him about. Great movie-we watched it twice. Great performace at every level.

You will love this one
This is a PBS production and it is very entertaining mini series about Harry Gordon Selfridge and how he grew one of the largest department stores in London England..Dramatic with areas of comedy thrown in and just all around a good watch...

A keeper, if you like Downtown Abbey, you will enjoy Mr. Selfridge. A keeper
I watched Mr. Selfridge on Masterpiece PBS, and just love it. I love the period and the characters, I was having withdrawn from Downtown Abbey , have the series and watch 7 times when I found Mr. Selfridge after watching the price, lovely period show, now I can watch 7 times too.

A VERY GOOD STORY BASED ON THE REAL LIFE OF SELFRIDGE. GOOD TIME PERIOD SERIES.
This is a great series, based on fact, a good sense of the time period. It is engaging, if you enjoy Downton, you should enjoy this.

Don't Pass This Up
One of THE best mini-series I've seen in a very long time. Men & women will both love this show created from archives of the Selfridge Store archives that is still in operation today. What a show ! Worth every cent.

Excellent Acting!
This series is now one of my new favorites! The actors owned their parts and the story line was very compelling. I really enjoyed each episode!

Great from beginning to the end !
Awesome Series ! Truly , i can not say anything negative about this series . I was not familiar with the history of Harry Selfridge & Selfridges . The acting was amazing from the whole cast.
