Notes2016 release. As the former front man of American rock/metal band Staind, Aaron Lewis boasts an accomplished music career for over 17 years. The band flaunts an impressive repertoire with seven studio albums, selling over 15 million records worldwide. Hints of classic country story-telling and acoustic melodies have always been present in Aaron's sound, and after his music career with Staind ended, he decided to go back to his roots. Great country sound, love his voice
Love it, Great country sound, musicians great-have brought back real country music. Aaron has a great voice. I bought it not ever hearing it because of his previous country cd's and I'm not disappointed. It hasn't left my cd player since I bought it. I drive 3 hrs a day and have never tired of it yet!! Makes my day go faster.

Finally some real Country Music
Aaron Lewis doesn't get enough credit for his Country Music.. I guess some people can't get over the fact that he played Rock music for so long, and he's not singing about "sipping on sunshine out by the water sitting on a tailgate!" This record, and all of his country music.. Makes you feel, think, and appreciate the ups and downs of life!! It's not all dixie cups, sweet tea, hip hop, fluorescent lights, and getting you chill on!! GREAT RECORD!!

Forceful singer
Simply awesome singer/songwriter. Meaningful lyrics, fantastic instrumentation and great vocals. Soulful sounds from former front man for Staind. Definitely glad he is now laying down some alt-country music.

Another great album by Aaron Lewis.
When Aaron broke out and started singing country I was nervous he could not pull it off, he reminds me of old Waylon, and David Allen Coe in their early years, highly recommend this album if you like old school country.
