1977 The Rescuers, is a fun animated movie about two young mice, who try to save a young girl named Penny from the evil Madame Madusa.
Disney's The Rescuers ,is a very entertaining animated movie.It tells the story of Miss Bianca an Benard the mouse who are sent an urgent call to Dead Mans Bayou,to save a young girl named Penny whos has been kidnapped by the evil Madame Madusa who wants to use Penny to steal the worlds largest diamond.It also features other animal characters as well.

Also if some of you hate Disney that’s okay. I respect many of your opinions if you always respect mine. My family and I all love Disney. And one of the best features on the Disney movie DVD features is I love seeing the makings of them behind the scenes and the art gallery features. They really interested me. I want to say thanks

"A True Disney Classic Cartoon"
I absolutely loved "The Rescuers"! I fell in love with this classic cartoon when I first saw it in the movie theater many years ago as a child. The voice talents made this film delightful to watch. Bob Newhart and Eva Gabor were great as the heroic mice; Bernard and Bianca. Geraldine Page and Joe Flynn were unforgettable as the evil duo of Madame Medusa, and her bumbling assistant; Mister Snoops. I also recognized Jeannette Nolan, Pat Buttram, George Lindsey, Dub Taylor, Larry Clemmons and John Fiedler as some of the local swamp critters who aided our heroes in rescuing the kidnapped orphan child Penny from her abductors..

All the movies I am getting right now are for gifts to my great grand children. I am finishing up 2 separate video library's for 2 of my grandsons new families. The movies / cartoons that I purchased i know to be great for kids so thank you for having a good selection.

Played Finally
The Rescuers was a great price. Nothing wrong with the DVD. Only thing was that it will not play on a USA region 1 DVD player. I almost sent it back because it didn't play on my older DVD player. I decided to try it on my newer DVD/BluRay that is region free. It played with no problem. I didn't see anything mentioning this. Maybe I missed it, but I usually check for that. I think this should be shown bigger and better,so buyers know what they are buying. So that they don't have to send back DVD's that don;t work. Or throw them away because of a no return policy from the buyer.

Love this movie!!
Not as sophisticated as later Pixar films, but it’s a great story with wonderful characters, voice over work and music. Always love watching this one.
