Great story, real life Columbus in our times
What a story! Think what Columbus risked sailing west from Spain, then put it on live TV with his family watching. Things you would never consider, the wives/kids of the astronauts watching their spouse/dad in constant danger. Cold-war implications, the complexity of the overall task, right on the heels of the Apollo 1 deaths. Why would anyone want fiction?
