I asked to combine shipping both times to save shipping cost. The costs were excessive in the first place. Same size box for one as for two. The 3rd order they did purchase two Cup & Saucers sets. They felt that the cost of shipping should be the same for two as it was for one. I explained the math 8 oz + 8 oz (weight of each item) = to 16 oz which = 1 lb. I also explained that the box would be larger 6"x5"x5" instead of a 4"x4"x4" box. They did receive combined shipping - no refund was warranted.
