This series, following Tales from the Green Valley, is engaging and informative. The reenactors enjoy every minute of portrayal of the way people lived and worked without the conveniences and inconveniences of our own times and that joy draws you in and, for longer than the running time of the series, makes you one of the family. And many of us have bygone family that lived such lives beyond the poverty and grime of city dwelling. Informative and contemplative.

Great Series
Well remembered from TV and now we can watch 12 one hour episodes at our leisure. A well-made and fascinating series; great scenes in Devon, too! Top quality DVD set.

Great vieving
Enjoyed this so very much,the people in it are really good at explaining and showing us what they are doing. Takes us back to a forgotten time to show us not only how they worked but how they lived.
