Kenmore Elite water filter 46 9490
Buying the OEM replacement part is always more expensive. I feel safer with this product in my new refrigerator than a knock off, less expensive filter. It certainly assures the warranty is still in tact. The water is very good. I own a well. It appears to remove any bad taste, odor, or color. My ice cubes are perfect. All drinks taste great using cubes from this filter. I highly recommend the use of this filter for your refrigerator.

Kenmore vs LG
I was looking for a Kenmore Elite water filter. I found it on your site and it was labeled as such. But when I received it yesterday, it was a LG water filter. It actually worked in my fridge. I would just like to see if I order one thing, to actually get it. Not another version of it. Thanks.

funny taste
After running 2 gallons of water through the filter as required still has a funny taste.one mouth later as to date charcoal flavor.
