Adam Sandler... You can dooo it!
Characteristic Sandler humor. Anyone who likes his other work will like this. He plays an angry fellow, with life going nowhere. With some changes, and some good advice, things improve. It is a lesson story buried within lots of humor and schtick. Anyone contemplating a viewing of Little Nicky, another Sandler work, should see this first. Happy Gilmore Review
I thought it was a good movie, it has some pretty funny parts. The downfall to the movie is that the plot is pretty predictable and only the characters of Happy and Chubs are really interesting and stand out. The other characters are pretty bland, especially the typical villain/bully and love interest.
