Another great TV Christmas movie makes it to DVD
I saw this movie years ago when it was first shown on TV. It was sad and happy, and was a movie that brought back memories of my youth. Lee Remick was one of my favorite actresses and she is great in this movie. I always looked in the TV listings to see when it was going to be on again, but as the years went by, it wasn't being shown. This year I looked again, but it wasn't scheduled. My wife said why don't you look online. And, there it was. I ordered it, and couldn't wait till it arrived. I think I watched the movie 3 times over the holidays. This is written by Earl Hamner, and so was The Homecoming, also one of my favorites. Thanks for bringing "The Gift of Love, a Christmas Story" to DVD. It will be added to my "must see" list of holiday favorites.

Excellent Christmas film
I ordered this DVD several years ago. Keep in mind that it's made from a TV movie, but it's still reproduced very well on this DVD and is well worth the money. I was surprised at the quality. This is a hard to find film and when I bought mine ebay was the only place I could find it. One of the best deals I ever found.

An excellent Christmas Gift
If you loved Lee Remick, you will love her in, The Gift of Love: A Christmas Story. A memorable story that touches your heart and soul in all the right places.
