Like but not perfect

MT01Z Multi-Tool
I was skeptical of its strength and battery life but this tool handles 90% of my jobs. When first turned on, the motor runs at lower power. I thought my unit was broken. Once the tool is engaged and the motor senses a load, then it spins oscillates faster and harder. When the load is removed, then the motor spins back down to idle speed. This is a very, very nice feature. You can have a conversation and it saves battery usage while idling. This tool does not have a quick attach mechanism but then again it is very light and inexpensive. This little tool rocks! I bought a pair of 12v Makita drills a year ago and took them to Costa Rica for repairs. I stumbled upon this Makita multi tool and the price was right. it too is now in Costa Rica and works like a dream! I'm a professional woodworker and have been a fan of Makita cordless tools since my first 7v drill I bought when they were first introduced. Makita multi tool
