Worst Comedy Ever
I have always been a big fan of David Jason's work, he is a comedy legend and an excellent actor. However, The Top Secret Life of Edgar Briggs is without doubt the worst comedy series I have ever had the misfortune to watch. Not only is it not funny, it actually tries far too hard to be funny and yet fails epically. I watched the entire first series hoping it would get better, sadly it didn't it started unfunny and ended even less funny. I was so disappointed that I cannot even bring myself to watch the second series.

A bit too silly
This is early David Jason & is not the great actor of later years. Edgar briggs while entertaining & funny is just a bit too silly. Worth watching for David Jason.

Worth watching, but don't expect Open All Hours or Only Fools & Horses.
A bit light so can see why it has not been repeated, but still good anarchic fun!
