    Entertaining Irish life story & comedy from the early 20th century Ireland prior to the Free State

    It is very good and entertaining. I gave it 4 stars because the discs play ok but because it is old technology the picture quality is less than today's videos. I recommend you see it.

    If Downtown Abbey was in Ireland

    Excellent early British/Irish TV show. It is a gentle look at life in early twentieth century Ireland,filmed on location. Reminds me of the movie "The Quiet Man". I do have to use close captioning as they often speak quickly with a brogue. Strong characters,excellent acting and a slow paced unfolding of events lands you back in old time Ireland. Very relaxing and enjoyable!

    Funny. Light hearted fun.

    It would be 5 stars if there were cc captioning. The heavy Irish accents can be very difficult at times.
