Still a great Movie.
Saw this movie when it first came out in the early sixties. Loved it for what seemed like authenticity at the time. Still holds up very well. Great soundtrack. Fine performances by many great actors. McQueen at the top of his game. Totally worth seeing again and again!!!

He's Steve McQueen, the King Of Cool, so what more do I need to say? If you don't like Steve McQueen, then you're wrong.
He's Steve McQueen, the King Of Cool, so what more do I need to say? He plays the part of USAAF Capt. Virgil Hilts the Cooler King absolutely perfectly. His performance in The Sand Pebbles is absolutely Oscar worthy. If you don't like Steve McQueen, then you're wrong.

Its all Steve, what more needs to be said? Exccept too bad the set didn't also include his two best movies: Bullit and LeMans
