Grand movie; very poor blu-ray
I love this film and watch it at least once a year on New Year's Eve, but often more than once. I bought the blu-ray thinking it would somehow be an improvement over my already excellent DVD. I was wrong. The picture is actually worse with colors off and even details fuzzy, where they are crystal clear on the DVD. The sound is particularly troublesome. I had to turn the volume way up to hear normal conversation, but then got my ears blasted out when loud scenes took place. That does not happen on the DVD. I'm very disappointed, but glad that I still have the DVD to rely on; I recommend that you stick with that. The blu-ray also offers only the same bonus special features that the DVD has, so you're not missing anything there either.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Blu Ray mission accomplished
Good video capture, details not seen in SD/vhs are easily distinguishable. This disc delivers. The original mono soundtrack has been remastered to 5.1 effectively, with good use of dynamic range. The movie content is not reviewed here.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
