An excellent updated, but 23 years old, Sporting Clays book
The updated "Sporting Clays Vol. 2" is an excellent revision of the first volume, but it is 23 years old now. There have been advancements in guns, ammunition, and other gear, but the game is still the same. If you have the first volume, which is quite good yet, you will enjoy this book as well. The problem as we said, is there is always updated equipment, shells, tips, and rule changes, and any book will either be outdated when published, or soon there after, so read this one and don't sweat the latest, newest, earth shaking gear that has come out yesterday, and will be gone tomorrow. While the first volume gave you a look at what was going on at the dawn of Sporting Clays, this one is a better/fuller look at the game after it has been established, with new information and new writers. If you are into Sporting Clays, or want to know more about it, there may be better books out there, but then again, this one should give you all you a solid grounding and all you need to get started, and start having fun NOW, rather then later.
