useful for reference and just life-like to use
The book is easy to understand and very comprehensive. I like the pictures that match up with my marbles so I know what I have and have some idea of their values. It also covers a broad spectrum of makers of marbles which is great. All in all, a quality reference product!

Good for Basic ID
Helpful for basic identification of "groups/types" of marbles. But more specific information is needed to ID individual marbles. The pictures are not quite enough.

Marbles Identification and Price Guide, revised and expanded, 5th edition
A great book for keeping up with the prices and helping to know what to pay if buying and what price to ask if selling. I find all of Robert Block's books help to increase ones's knowledge about marbles!
