Interesting quest but for what?
I really enjoyed this book. I got it for my grandkids to eventually read but I like to read the books before i hand them over. And they are too young for this one. It's a very compelling book and I loved the characters. Does it all make perfect sense? No but it's not supposed to because one of the main characters sees things thru the lens of autism but that is not mentioned. Only that he is different. So many lessons to learn in this book. It's beautifully written and children's authors seem to tie up all the loose ends at the ending which authors for adults do not do. Journeys of self discovery and quests happen when they don't know what they are searching for. It is a very satisfying book to read.
