Effective and efficient
This is a repeat buy of the same holster I already have for a different model semi-auto pistol. The quality is excellent and the safety lock works perfectly as long as the user operates it correctly. There is a standard hand position for which should always be used for safely pulling the handgun out of a holster WITHOUT putting the finger on the trigger. As long as the trigger finger is positioned ABOVE the trigger and inline with the slide, the release button on this holster works perfectly with no effort at all. Once the release button is pushed, the pistol slides out very quickly and easily. There is no yanking or pulling. With practice, you can learn to use this holster in less than five minutes. I give this holster five stars for quality, safety and effectiveness. It comes with a paddle and a belt attachment with different angle settings available. My only complaint is that the paddle works too well; it is easy to put on but I have to loosen my belt and pants to remove it. It's a strange complaint but it just means that once you put it on, it will stay on with no worries of coming loose.

It must be made of cheap plastic
The instructions says to bend the belt clips around and snap them into place. Well the first one worked fine but the second one broke and the kit doesn’t come with any extra ones. So its useless now. The holster itself works as described, but they need to fix the flimsy belt clips.

Not So Great!
Used with G17 Gen 4; the weapon fits lose no matter how tight the tension screw is adjusted. Found out this is common with the "00" size Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster. There is a "fix" video on YouTube that entails gluing shims to take up slack. I did the shimming & it does work but took careful work & time. This is a known factory problem. I've used other models of Serpa CQC holsters with no problems. I do not recommend this particular size holster for the Glock 17 sized weapons.

Best Holster Out There
Blackhawk CQC OWB holster is the best on the market. It has a locking mechanism that you must depress to upholster your tool. I have these for all of my equipment. Nobody can come up behind you and remove it. This is a must have holster.

Nothing compares to this holster.
The release is awesome and it was set exactly as I wanted with no adjustments! Unreal!!! Keep up the great manufacturing guys!

Release button
Used it once at shooting range, and release button stop working. I wouldn't say I won't recommend it, I guess I was just lucky one and got that one that was maybe defective?

Great for $$
This is not a bombproof holster! For range use this holster will perform well, the retention system works and fits the pistol very well. For the money this is a great mid-range holster, ideal for range use & open carry, but not quite a duty holster.
