008-1460-000 Chrome Fender High Mass Dlx 4-String Jazz P/Precision Bass Bridge
Pros: Great bass bridge, heavy (weights 212 grams), massive oversized saddles, great looks, affordable. Cons: screw spacing not quite like standard Fender bass bridge , but it can fit in existing holes. Also due thickness of the base plate and due oversized saddles action could not be set lower than 4mm, so neck required a 0.50 mm shim. If you can overcome these two minor design differences vs stock Fender bridge then you will end up with a great affordable Hi mass bass bridge. CHEERS..

how good!
This bridge is a really good buy, I think it's a perfect bridge for the P basses, It's a heavier duty bridge than the stock bridges as a matter of fact all the parts are of a heavier qulity.. Adjusting it is a breeze it's smooth and easy to tune in the intoneations, all said I think it's a great bridge , try it and see I think you all will like it.

The measurements differ somewhat from the original
This is a well made and robust bridge. However, the five installation holes are not exactly in the same places as in a Fender bass body, which is best seen in the two foremost holes - they are situated a tiny bit wider than in the original. I would suggest that Fender tries to get it just right in the future so as not to damage the bass body in any way!

Great price, fits squires
Awesome price and fit right on where my Squire body was already drilled into from the previous bridge. Great if your looking for an upgrade

Perfect upgrade
This was an instant upgrade to my MIM P Bass. Sonically, it feels like the tone is more full and the sustain has increased.
