The Best Seiko I've had
Not counting my Grand Seiko, this is the best Seiko that I've experienced since I've began my collection 1.5 years ago.
For context, I seriously started collecting watches 1.5 years ago and my 1st automatic diver was the SRPD55K1. I've also had an all black 5KX, and a Samuari. While not a technically a diver, but it has 200mm wr, I've also experienced the SARB017 Alpanist, and other Seiko's ranging from 300 to 700 and this tops them all. Admittedly, the SPB143 does fall short in comparison to my luxury Divers (Omega Seamaster, Breitling Superocean 42) it doesn't lag too far behind at 1/4 the cost.
I'm aware of the problems with QC, but I have not experienced this and everything is aligned correctly. Also I feel people are being too hard on the bracelet quality. The bracelet is not bad and the best I've experienced with a Seiko. For the price it's solid in my opinion.
In conclusion, this is a great opinion to consider at the 1200 price range.
