The translation is a compilation of scriptures from the Paleo-Hebrew fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, a revision of Brenton's translation of the Old Testament Greek Septuagint (LXX), as well as both testaments from the Codex Sinaiticus, the Codex Alexandrinus, and the Codex Vaticanus and many other ancient manuscripts. However, the online version is kept constantly updated, faster than what we can update the paperbacks, therefore will vary slightly in notes & translation. This New Testament paperback volume includes the words of Jesus in bold, and Old Testament quotations have a special underline. Notes include references to ancient manuscripts, Greek, Aramaic & Hebrew words and verse references. Notes indicate many, but not all, differences between KJV Masoretic text & Alexanderian text. This bible is a "must have" for every person in pursuit of the absolute truth of the original scriptures. Although the number of notes and cross references are not as great as most other study bibles, these notes don't obey the traditional denominational thinking, therefore give you a better opportunity to grow in truth. Please note that this translation is not based on the Masoretic Received Text manuscripts that the KJV is based upon, but rather upon the more reliable "Alexandrian" text manuscripts but does take into consideration the Byzantine text.
