Gripping Gameplay, Decent Story
While potentially a short story, the gameplay is gripping and immediately feels challenging. I am a fan of roguelites and the meta-progression in this game is the perfect amount in my opinion. It seems to borrow from metroidvanias by giving you abilities that open up access to different parts of the levels while maintaining difficulty. Overall really fun gameplay with an interesting (though not astounding) story.

Great game
Excellent rogue like game with great gameplay and visuals, but the best aspect of this game is the use of the dual shock controller. The immersion is amplified greatly by the vibrations, trigger response settings and noise alert during chaotic battles at times is incredibly helpful to survive.

this game is great , the story is interesting but i think for the price of it it’s a little high. overall a great game to have in your collection library.

good game
Got as a Christmas gift for son. He loves the game, the graphics are amazing and the game looks like it is a challenging game. He has played it for days. All reviews I read on it people love it and by the graphic alone I can see why.

Great game once you get it.
It's not as difficult as the press made it out to be. Once you learn the systems you'll be playing it over and over and for good reason. The new game plus ending is one of the best I've seen.

classic housemarque fun game!!!!
l LOVE the game. first though - the combat can be difficult at first. but, you learn as you play -which is part of the fun. the action can be very fast-paced and you'll survive based on split-second decisions as well as good gun play. the story is immersive and the more i uncover, the more i want to know, so that's good too. the game looks amazing and helps to draw you in while exploring, as well as provide spectacular fireworks during combat. onlly negative i have : there is no way to save progress while you're in a particular run-through. so, keep that in mind when playing. overall, it's a great game and i'm having a lot of fun with it.

Meh
Maybe just wasn’t my cup of tea. With new ps5 releases now I had to sell. Only played once or twice. Graphics were good. I got a new weapon and lost it when i died. Made me mad plus I didn’t like how it was like you were always running. Traded it for ghosts of Taushima. Much better game imo.

It’s worth playing
Great story that is hidden behind many references. the gameplay has so many baffling, frustrating flaws where the devotees of all they can to ensure you never have fun. Interesting idea but needs more persistent elements between runs.
