The book is about environmental effects on health of power looms workers. The human health had been emerging as a major issue because with the increasing number of industries, respiratory problems had increased. The growing proportion of work related accidents and diseases resulting in the loss of valuable working hours and livelihood of the workers. The frequency of occupational diseases and injuries had been growing high in the developing countries and majority of the accidents were not reported to the labour department. The present research work concentrated on the cost of asthma sickness and the economic evaluation of the environmental effects on power looms workers. This study was based on primary data. The logit model was used to measure the environmental effects on power looms workers.
