Couldn't make it any simple.
Being a nw collector to this period of history this book did an excellent job of presenting details on equipment & its use - highly recommend for both the new & experienced student of this period.

"Lightweight but Informative"
Easy to read. Has good pictures. Not too big a book so it can be used as a guide when visiting forts or battlefields with cannons. As a neophyte to the subject of cannons and projectiles, I find this book to be extremely helpful.
