Robots in their own right!
Awesome little remote control robots! Both have a great likeness to the real Minotaur and Beta. Beta's back is a lot more stunted and square than the real robot but this only helps the toy turn himself over onto his wheels if hes turned upside down. His axe is activated by pressing the button once, when you press the button a second time it retracts ready to be fired again. Minotaur has a very nice blue light just like the real minotaur, his drum spinner is very fast and causes the toy to vibrate very slightly much like how the real one reacts. Both have 3 panels which come away like real battle damage, these pieces come away a bit too easily for my liking but you can always add a little bit of double sided sticky tape to make it more challenging. Great Toy
Great Toy, very good Toy-Design and functionality, only downside being that these two (Beta and Minotaur) are not on sale in continental europe by its manufacturer Hexbug (why???), so it had to be orderd in the US... Otherwise perfect (Protip: if these ever fall into sand/earth and stop working (wheel(s) stop(s) turning), dont use force, open carefully, unmount wheel section(s) as far as possible, clean thoroughly, and they are as good as new, best use these toys in clean flat surrondings)Great Toy, very good Toy-Design and functionality, only downside being that these two (Beta and Minotaur) are not on sale in continental europe by its manufacturer Hexbug (why???), so it had to be orderd in the US... Lightweight, easy to use.
I was pretty excited when it came, but both bots have their pro's and con's. Minotaur's drum spinner was very slow at first, but after I opened it up, I was able to make a couple minor adjustments and the weapon was a little bit faster. Beta's hammer works exactly like it's supposed to, aside from it occasionally jamming. It is incredibly easy to fix, because all you have to do is gently push the hammer forward until it is in the "down" position, then just power the bot off, and then back on and works just fine again.
