Family entertainment (with a few bad words)
This is a light, engaging story of a pope who feels disconnected and useless, but finds new inspiration when accidentally locked out of the Vatican. He travels to a remote village to help a deaf girl who came to Rome to see him and ask for a new priest. There are a few four-letter words spoken, but for the most part the language is clean. Tom Conti is very believable as the misplaced pope, Edward James Olmos is the bad guy (and speaker of the bad words), and the supporting cast is likeable too. Saving Grace shows the human side of love, compassion and forgiveness to each other
