Made in China, poor build quality
They look ok, and I do like the polarized gradient brown lens, which are ideal for driving. Build quality however is a huge letdown. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to install springs next to the screws that allow temples to swing outwards. What this means is that these sunglasses fit very loosely and feel like they gonna fall off every time you nod your head, making them useless for any activity other than driving or sitting by the pool looking up, cuz the moment you look down, they will slip right off. Ironically I bought another pair for same price, RB4190, they are rock solid quality, fit perfectly and look great, and yes, unlike RB3498, they are made in Italy.

Second pair
I bought a pair of these sunglasses years ago. As a result of wear and tear, the lenses got scratched and I could not find the original brown lenses. The frame is still in good shape. I decided to buy another pair. I love these glasses. The price is affordable compared to other vendors.

Not real good sun glare protection
I really didnt like these as much as i thought i would. They looked great until i got out in the sun with them on and they just didn’t seem to provide as much uv protection as my old sunglasses. I ended up keeping them to strictly wear for fishing due to them being polarized, I didn’t want to send them back because they were good quality at a great price but i would not buy again if i knew about their limited sun protection
