As good as Downton Abbey
A series by the same writer as Downton Abbey, but this time in 1980s USA. The costumes are brilliant. The characters engaging. The storyline based on actual historical events. I look forward to when Season 2 comes out on DVD since I don't have HBO and really can't afford cable. And I paid under $20 so this was a bargain.

wonderful, accurate depiction of America social class

Carrie Cooms performance is on point
Same author as Downtown Abbey. Quality All Actors are worth watching on this show. The period drama is entertaining.

Incredible series
Fantastic series! For me, even better than Downton Abbey. Great acting, lavish scenery. Wonderful period drama.

Low budget, slow going, dialog is shallow and not catching up. Just slow and boring. Time and money - wasted.

Beautiful and Exciting
I LOVED this series and all of the characters-even the bad ones and can't wait until I can purchase the next season on DVD. The costumes were beautiful-especially Bertha's!
