Funny and Poignat
The actors and acting in this are marvelous. The story line is very true according to lifetime and life styles of today. The story line if a very funny one, set with two couples that have been married for forty years. The husbands announce they have are gay and have been in love for twenty years. The story is how these couples in their seventies deal with divorce and starting life over. I can not wait to receive and see season 2. Hats off to Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, Lilly Tomlin, and Jane Fonda.

Two Treasures
It's so enjoyable watching these two women act against each other that the other characters seem peripheral. Fonda and Tomlin make this show work. The husbands and children are great for the first episode, but then after the set up, all you want to see is the spirited, honest, hilarious portrayals by these two women. It's like Oscar and Felix afresh! Bravo for making this series.

I'm a man's man
I didn't want to see this. My wife usually gets movies and such which makes me want to clean the gutters instead. Well, I can't get enough of this show, it's brilliant, period. If anyone watches this and doesn't find at least half of their family in it, they live on the moon. The killer for me is watching Sheen and Waterston acting convincingly as gay men. It's just too wrong, but so good. There are so many reasons this show is right on, but see for yourself.

Bought It As A Gift
After viewing it myself, I bought the DVD for a friend who is finding it as engaging as I did. Fonda and, especially Tomlin, play off each other like an old married couple well-versed in their Two-Step dance. The writing is exceptional, and the supporting actors' work, Sheen and Waterston in particular, in addition the actors playing their children, make for fun viewing. Need I say more?

Grace and Frankie - 1st season
As you can probably tell by who is starring in this sitcom / dramedy -( a rose by any other name.........) This is an intelligent, as well as funny show with multiple layers - many nuances. This middle aged woman has found it the best show around.

Super funny
I love this show. Jane and Lilly are just fantastic! All the characters are super funny and the story lines are incredible. Hope this is the first of many seasons to come.

great sit com. I wish our cable co. carried it. I wasn't even aware of it until my daughter told me about it. I love both of these women as soon as I watchec the first DVD in Season one, I ordered Season 2.

Netflix Gold
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are pure gold as titular characters "Grace and Frankie." The writing is crisp, caustic, sweet and true. The show's playing, by all concerned, is bull's-eye sharp. Sitcom television rarely gets better than this.

I Love these Ladies
Such a Good Honest Series. These Ladies are Great. Both with such different personalities. Just goes to show there is life after 50, oh I mean 70... hahaha.

Love it!
Very entertaining! I laughed so hard that I missed some of the dialog and had to rewind. If you are a fan of both these actresses you will absolutely love this season. Can't wait for season 2.
