    Excellent performance and design, easy to operate.

    Our last dehumidifier was a Danby, lasted 7 years, so I bought a new 50 pt Danby based on performance, reliability of last one. The new 50 pt Danby is excellent. Sized for 3000 ft2, we use it in our basement, 1500 ft2, so it has surplus capacity. The design is superior. Air intake in back, through sleek, easily accessed air filter, direct to condensing coils. Side air discharge. Unit compressor is very quiet, smooth. Owner's manual well written, easy to understand. Digital controls easy to understand, set, adjust. Performs excellent, easy to operate. Brought RH fm 80 down to 60 first afternoon, now holds 55 RH setpoint, unit cycles as necessary to hold. Very satisfied. Warranty is 2 years plus 2 months if you register, answer online customer survey, which I did, so 26 month ...

    Never heard of the brand Danby????????

    Took a chance and I like the operation and the design of the Danby, my last one after taking it half apart I still could't get to the fins to clean them. Danby's, the fins are right behind the filter and readily available. Really like that design.

    Does a pretty good job!

    Pulls the moisture out of the air very well. Was surprised! Even though I checked the "is it quiet" box as a yes, I think it's a little noisy, fan wise on the high setting. However, I would recommend this product.

    Great dehumidifier for the Price

    The Danby Dehumidifier works great in keeping humidity within desirable range automatically. Bought two of these for different properties. Nice option of using either the drain tank, or continuous drain hose simply by attaching it. Economically priced for what it does. Five stars.

    Accurate sensor and effective at removing moisture from the air. And the price was great compared to local big box stores in my area.
