    Great characters with good writing

    Major Crimes S3 is another of the continuing seasons of this series which started out as the Closer and as such has been popular to a great degree due to it's interesting characters and the solid writing that follows them. I have found it to be an interesting series largely because of it's great characters and good writing.

    Major Crimes Continues to Entertain Me

    I've watched these characters for more than 10 years (The Closer - 7yrs) and they feel like old friends. The writers continue to write great season and episode plots. I think the characters are well developed and I thoroughly enjoy the actors in their roles. There's a sense of continuity between the episodes but they mostly stand alone with the plot and resolution at the end of the hour unless they state that it's just the part of a greater whole. With the DVD season series, I know I can always watch it when I want to. I can't wait to see the start of the new season. Thanks for the continued entertainment!!

    A great police show.

    I loved this show when it was The Closer with Kyra Sedgewick(?), I hated to see her leave but the show has survived very well. I love the detectives and the new actor who took Kyra's place is great. You will love this show, it is not very bloody or have difficult murder scenes to watch. It is more about the people in the squad room.

    Great Crime Show

    Major Crimes just keeps rolling along - guess it's because crime never takes a break. The characters just keep doing their thing in entertaining ways. The story lines keep developing the characters more and more with interesting crimes to be investigated. Sometimes, in a comical way - which gives your nerves a break. Just like real life - sometimes you laugh... sometimes you cry. But it's always interesting. Great show to watch. Can't wait for the next season's episodes.

    One of the BEST TV series EVER!!

    I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly this shipped! I was still watching Season 2...and nearing the end, so it was AWESOME that this next season showed up! One of the discs seemed to have an issue with 'one' section of 'one' episode...kept hanging up, stopping, starting and then completed fine. Fortunately it wasn't at any CRUCIAL parts!!! (smile). Thank you for shipping this out so expeditiously!! Big word, huh?
