You first establish your four corners and putting those stakes first. Then you go to the top of the tent and slide in the pole pieces in the fabric sleeves towards top center and then the tent poles clip into the fabric along the sides. There are no fabric sleeves going from the bottom to the top. Only fabric sleeves towards the top. There is usually a center piece that all four poles go into.

Both times they were advertised as a motion sensor alarms with 13 sounds and flashing lights. Both times they arrived with only 1 sound with flashing lights. I don't think the sellers knew they only had 1 sound. They arrived fast and were packaged well.
