Kinda looks like it was made to be tucked in, but then there is the kangaroo pocket? This top was after my time in the Marines, so don't know how it was supposed to be worn. Sleeves are long but the thumb holes are properly placed, so I guess the extra fabric over the hands is supposed to be there. This is a "fire resistant" garment, so maybe it is supposed to cover like that. I like it
