The movie screenplay is much better
Richard Matheson is supposed to be this big-time great writer. Having first seen the movie, I thought he was. Then I began reading this book. It is BAD. Not one bit of whimsy, romance or mystery that is in the movie. I should have known this book would be lousy. A romantic trip back in time.
