Sturdy and works exactly like expected. Only minor comment I’d have, is to change the adhesive to black. The white stands out and somewhat defeats the purpose of making the bracket more “stealthy”.

I have ordered several of these and they work great. My only suggestion is that the adhesive be changed to black color (vs. the current white color) so that it is less visible from outside the of the car. The current white adhesive looks like a floating white rectangle in the middle of the windshield.

Great item. Glad I looked at the pictures. Saw the picture with the mount that had the “arrow” on it. This works only with the OEM mount.

Better than OEM suction cups but could have small issue with some users
This is overall a good product. I like the idea of a permanent mount over the OEM suction cups. The only concern I had that may or may not be for other buyers is that the angle of the mount is not adjustable. I found that I had to kind of peel back the 3M adhesive tape and kind of force the radar detector to be level by pressing the front end against the windshield and locking it in place with the mount. Again, small issue that I was able to resolve on my own and it didn't really have any negative affects.This is overall a good product. I like the idea of a permanent mount over the OEM suction cups. Simple mount can't go wrong
I spent many years trying to stick my V1 in different vehicles with the same 3M tape... When I opened up the package i felt silly because I didn't think of it first. Clever and Simple always works best. Current Vehicle: E92 M3

Works well, but has a small issue.
The bracket fits well, but the tape does not stick very well and I had to use my own. Also the product took two weeks to arrive which is 2 days longer than estimated.

Suction cups NEVER AGAIN! This mount is AWESOME!!!
The screws fit the V1 plastic cradle perfectly as does the small metal plate. Remove the V1's garbage plastic suction cups with quick release from the plastic cradle. Then simply twist out the screws and place the metal plate over the cradle. The screws tighten to the perfect tension, and there is no worry about over tightening. I wish I found this mount 15 years ago when I first bought my V1!!!! I highly recommend this product!!!!!The screws fit the V1 plastic cradle perfectly as does the small metal plate. Fits the Valentine V1 perfectly. I removed the 2-sided permanent tape and replaced it with Scotch dual lock tape which works much better and the mount can be easily removed.
