It seems to work at least as fast as the original SSD, but I haven't benchmarked to confirm.Make sure to follow the iFixit guide for removing the old SSD and installing this one, and follow Valve/Steam's guide to install/recover SteamOS. I recommend preparing your OS image on a flash drive before you receive the SSD so you don't have to wait for it to complete like I did.

If your games are slow try unpartioning your m2 and formatting it NTFS after. Should work then. My m2 was partitioned in like 6 parts and I think this caused the games to have terrible lag.

It was, but I really appreciated the attention to detail. Product arrived (from China) about a week earlier than I expected, with excellent packaging and the required Torx screwdrivers. I probably bought at the worst time with the $AUD/USD rate, but I needed the part - and it delivered. I'll be putting this vendor up front for future purchases.
