Gear linkage upgrade.
I Get alot of parts from x8r for my workshop alway good quality and fast postage. The gear linkage is easy to fit better quality than oem and wont break its a win win good replacement or upgrade part.

Great replacement part. So-so to replace when in situ. A lot different than having assembly on a table held in a vice. Got old plastic linkage off no probs. Getting new one on was a bit trickier. As your looking at it stood in front of car the r/h side pops on easy enough with a set of pipe grips but the l/h side needs your left arm/hand down the back of the engine, hold socket over ball joint and with your right hand squeeze the grips to fit it in place. Those 'bloody' locking pins were a pain, did as shown in vid and nearly lost 'em. What worked for me was do as vid but instead of unclamping from the armature and sliding home, I left them as is and got a flat edged screwdriver and pushed along armature and they slid home. Why make the pinholes on bottom of socket, you can't see the ... Great replacement part. So-so to replace when in situ. A lot different than having assembly on a table held in a vice. Very impressed
Extremely good build quality. The rubber seals fit snug and hold the grease in the joints really well. The sockets have spring clips, as well as the retaining clips. I found the trick to getting the retaining clips in easily was to insert them into the first hole, stick them down with electrical tape, snap the socket ends into place, and then push the retaining clips further half way in, remove the tape, then push the rest of the way.Extremely good build quality. Superior upgrade to the original - if the plastic original can manage 50K+ this will go all the way. Lock pin is a little fiddly, but you certainly feel the gear change to be more precise and responsive.
