However, even though the description stated that "the image will not wear off and the guard is virtually scratch resistant", I pretty much immediately saw a little "flake" that had come off right above one of the pickup screws as I was attaching the pg to my bass. Now I'm left with a grey dot there (fortunately, the dot is quite small). Also, no shielding foil on the back.

Buyers should be aware, it can take a looooooooooooong time to arrive. Seller is a quality merchant, and when my guard did not arrive as expected, she was quite willing to refund me. The guard finally arrived unexpectedly (about 2 weeks later than estimated), I was more happy to allow her to charge my account again, because the guard is high quality. No problem ordering again, but will plan to wait a bit. Nice quality pickguard.
