    Brilliant idea just replace the broken bit

    After diagnosing the problem to be the servo actuator we could not believe the price of a complete unit but luckily found X8R while looking for alternatives.The new part was ship to us quickly and fitted immediately. Problem solved no more warning lights no more codes. Thank you for saving me lots of money.

    Pit stop scott garage Plymouth

    I have been working on BMWS for years and have had this problem lots of times but when I used to work for someone we would just replace the complete unit costing £££££, now I own and run my own garage I had a customer with transfer box issues banging lights on dash juddering when pulling away etc. So suggested giving this repair a go and see what happens it worked fantastic no problems, customer said to me that his x3 has never driven so good, so if your reading this I highly recommended buying it save £££££ and not big labour costs to fit

    Brilliant

    So I had the dreaded 4x4 & abs along with 4x4 inactive message. Done some research and found this part to repair the problem it's a really easy fix if you're handy with the spanners took me less than an hour to do. Saves a fortune against the alternative of buying a complete new unit defiantly worth buying

    X3 transfer case repair

    An excellent and well made piece of kit. Just bought my x3 a few weeks ago and thought I was looking at a full transfer box overhaul. Fitted this repair kit and all lights are out and no noises anymore. Highly recommended. Thanks guys

    Best to change.

    Write a review please, they said, the only reason I bought the gear wheel from X8R was relying on the hopeful point they would not sell rubbish, i've been caught before !! this pretty insignificant gear can cause so much upset and damage when it wears out and puts the drive line into permanent four wheel drive, this causes the transmission to wind up and usually the rear diff breaks as its the weakest link so its a no brainer, the cost of the gear to the cost of a possible rear diff replacement. Don't go cheap people !!!
