    Been looking for a woofer to compliment my music system. The price on the Dayton 1200 was so reasonable I bought 2. Musicality: excellent. Drums, elec. base and acoustic base sounds like your there. Been playing Stevie Ray Vaughn, Return to Forever, Four Play, Marc Antoine, Weather Report, Pat Metheny, Gary Burton. Great addition. The look is basic, the sound great, as is the value.

    I'm shocked how much bass you can get out of such an affordable subwoofer. Well made and delivered in good condition. I did have a problem with the wire getting caught on the inside of the port, but I opened it up and got it out.

    Awesome Subwoofer!

    I purchased one of these 2 years ago and was excited to add a second. This subwoofer is an amazing value and the quality is fantastic. It looks great, has solid construction, and most of all really booms. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a solid subwoofer at a fantastic price!

    Dayton 1200 subwoofer.

    Thanks parts express. I purchased a Dayton 1200 subwoofer from parts express, this sub is awesome. For the price and the design and quality of the woofer you definitely can't go wrong. I am blown away by it. I hooked it up to a vintage technics amp just for my turntable and paired it with b&w bookshelf speakers in high level inputs, the sub does the rest. I am so happy with the results. Thanks again to parts express great people very knowledgeable. I never actually heard of Dayton audio products until now. I'm glad I did some research because I can tell you these woofers are outstanding. I know it's hard to mess up a subwoofer but again for price, quality, and design you can't go wrong with Dayton subs.

    An Underdog winning the race

    I'm a bit of an Audiophile. I have 4 subs in my large room, because it opens to the kitchen there is a lot of volume to fill. One of my subs is an SVS 13 ultra so you know where I'm coming from. The SVS fills the 18-30hz gap. When I was dialing this Sub-1200 in I literally had to keep checking all of my other subs to see if I missed one even though I had unplugged them all, it was tripping me out. This little sub was performing much higher than my expectations. I mean the window even rattled! This sub does nothing under about 32hz. But it shines above that, seriously. 90% of your listening will be above 30hz anyway. You cant make a mistake here at this price. I really like the down firing feature, there is no port noise this way that I can hear.

    Awesome Sub

    Great addition to my home theatre. Good sound quality, nice booming bass if you want it Adjustable crossover and gain controls. This unit does the job of units costing hundreds more. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great sub for a great price. I may even buy a second one.

    Great sub for the price

    This sub meets all expectations you would expect at this price level. Build quality is great and sound reproduction is fairly accurate. It also handles the low notes quite well playing down to about 23 hz. The only negative thing about this sub is amplifier power, I think it is a bit underpowered at 120 watts, but it still definitely gets the job done for movies and music.
