2017 collection from one of the most successful bands of the rock era. The Bee Gees formed in 1958. Their line-up consisted of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. The trio were successful for most of their decades of recording music, but they had two distinct periods of exceptional success; as a popular music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as prominent performers of the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s. The group sang recognizable three-part tight harmonies; Robin's clear vibrato lead vocals were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&B falsetto became their signature sound during the mid-to-late 1970s and 1980s. The Bee Gees wrote all of their own hits, as well as writing and producing several major hits for other artists. The Bee Gees have sold more than 220 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. The Bee Gees' Hall of Fame citation says "Only Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks and Paul McCartney have outsold the Bee Gees."

    Great Chronological List of Hits!

    Always a Bee Gees fan (60s to the end of Disco) but never a drooling fan - but, when I saw their new documentary - I had to get this disc! Great track list! Hardcore fans will be displeased with a few songs that are missing from this collection, but I only wish one additional song was included. To me - this IS the best of the Bee Gees without the overkill of some of their more obscure "hits." And the disc sounds phenomenal! They did a great job of mastering these songs from different periods in the Bee Gees career - and making they all feel like they really belong on the same compilation, guided by the same hand. I grew up on rock - but always appreciated the Bee Gees 60s pop stylings (mixed with some thoughtful, folk-styled lyrics) and appreciated that they evolved with the changing music ...

    Great CD!

    I dearly love The Bee Gees. I spent my teen years, young adulthood, middle age, and now old age with them. Their music is magical . This collection contains many of their best and a magnificent arrangement of “Fanny Be Tender” that I dearly love.. if you like the Bee GeesYou will definitely enjoy this one.

    Bee Gees Greatest hits-CD

    This is the best music of the Bee Gees! I'm so glad I bought this. It's like going back in time. I remember listening to this on the radio and watching Saturday Night Fever, with music by the Bee Gees. This CD has all my favorite songs!

    Worth the wait!

    I didn't realize how far away this CD was coming. I bought it for my husband's B-day. We love the oldie but goodies. I appreciate the great packing and we thank you! It didn't have a flaw and was perfect....
