    Extensive, detailed information on dark room chemistry

    I am not familiar with another book that provides as much detail on the chemicals and their use in processing film and prints in the dark room. It is an excellent reference on the chemical composition of many developers, reducing agents, fixers, toners, etc. used in the recent past and currently available to the black and white dark room amateur and professional. This book includes instructions on how to properly mix the chemicals, how to use them and and how the chemicals affect the negative or print. It provides a great starting point for anyone who wants to experiment with processing prints and negatives to achieve desired results. It is a good learning tool for the serious dark room individual.     A good book to have in the darkroom

    A good reference to have in the darkroom. While most of the formulas are readily available on the internet it is good to have them in one place.
