My watch by Casio over this past Thirty Odd Years.
Casio has been the only watch I have owned apart from a Citizen I bought in the mid nineties (still have but has since failed to work) since I bought an alarm clock in 1983 in Stirling Scotland and the clock is still going to today, some new batteries through the years but hay ho and it has been every where I have been this past many years and like the song, it keeps going on and on. This new addition to my ownership has been a looked at for a few years and finally I convinced myself to buy it and well am happy I did. Comfy to wear with it has a sleek military look but very up to date content within and it's use is very simple to navigate around. A really nice watch to own and wear to work or to the pub or even the office alike, if you were in a meeting it will catch an eye and a talking ... Great watch.
This watch keeps accurate time and will never (well... hardly ever) need its battery replaced. The cloth band is backed with leather and is comfortable to wear, but I replaced it with a steel mesh band that has a magnetic closure. I just preferred that band. By the way, the proper width for a replacement band is 20 mm. I do not give a fig about "stylish" or not. It is easy for 76 year-old eyes to read. It does what a watch should do. Best non-smart watch!
This is the best non-smartwatch on the market! It's nice that it's a solar-powered watch that self-sets based on a radio signal from an atomic clock and isn't very expensive. It also helps that this particular model is made of parts from Japan and Thailand, so it wasn't subject to China tariffs importing it in to the US. The only downside is that being a Japanese-market product means the included manual is in Japanese, but a search for Casio Operation Guide 5161 helps find an English manual that helps to set up the watch.This is the best non-smartwatch on the market! It's nice that it's a solar-powered watch that self-sets based on a radio signal from an atomic clock and isn't very expensive. Wave Ceptor Solar Watch
The watch keeps time as accurately as advertised. This is my second time around for this watch. First purchased one over ten years ago. It still keeps time but shows the abuse from constant use. The new watch has a better crystal. On the downside, the band is very stiff. Hoping it will become more flexible over time.

The size of the dial matches the wrist, the solar power eliminates battery change, the radio controll provides the time adjustment... and the green textil band is stylish.
