Warm, Honest, Intimate and Romantic are the words most often used to describe this CD. The perfect accompaniment to a very special evening, 'When Did You Leave Heaven?' is a revelation of love in all it's intimacy through the voice, flugelhorn and trumpet of Paul Seaforth. The setting is the jazz quartet, and there are some wonderful surprises to be found in these interpretations of standards and two new gems, 'Kindness' and 'Tonight's a Night for Love'. Jazz fans will love this recording, too, as Paul has gathered the talents of guitarist Peter Sprague, acoustic bassists Bob Magnusson and Kevin Axt, and truly tasteful drummers Duncan Moore, Jim Plank, and Joe Cataldo.
