Works great as both barrier and adhesive
Using it for insulin pump/CGM, and it really helps with the two different problems I was having. Less irritation at the pump site (I change them out too often for the adhesive to get weak) and longer adhesion at the CGM site. I was using the same brand in wipe format previously, but the bottle/applicator is so much easier and less sticky on my fingers. Try the wipes if you don't want to commit yet, for travel, or if you're buying for multiple people. Using it for insulin pump/CGM, and it really helps with the two different problems I was having. A must for every freestyle Libre sensor user
I've been using the freestyle Libre 14-day sensors for the last 3 months. I've gone through well over a dozen sensors, I find a fall off of my skin so easily. There have been at least two days that I went through three sensors in just a few hours. I purchased this skin Tac adhesive and it works like a miracle! This sensor I adhered today is firmly in place oh, I can't believe what a difference this medical adhesive made. Skin Tac for my Diabetic 1 daughter.
My dauther has Diabetes 1. This is a great produckt to use on her plaster to the insulinpump and dexcom. She must have this on her body for weekes so we need it to sit on all the time. The Skin Tac makes it hold on even of she takes a bath and also when she is training.

'Skin TacStick'
I was pretty please with this product. I ordered it to apply under my new sensor for the Libre with hopes that it would adhere better. My first sensor started to peel off after the 7th day (did not use Skin Tac), my second sensor, even after applying the Skin Tac began to fall off after the 4th day so I applied more 'around the sensor area'. That definitely worked. It's latex free which is what I need. I'm currently on my third sensor and so far so good; it has been three days. I would recommend this as an additional adhesive. Waste of money.
This product, "adhesive" hardly works whatsoever for tacking back down my colostomy flange. Maybe if it was thicker it would work better as it just seems way too thin. It takes many coats of the product to even start to get a little tacky. It may work okay for other people or for something other than I'm trying to use it for, but it isn't working out for me at all. I was, and am, very disappointed in this "adhesive".This product, "adhesive" hardly works whatsoever for tacking back down my colostomy flange.
