The EltaMD tinted is a great sunscreen and makeup in one.
I had my husband order this for me. Great product. I've been using it for a while now. I use it as a base for my foundation. The tint is subtle and perfect. The cream has a high SPF which I need. The cream comes out with ease at the push of the top of the bottle. It goes on smoothly and evenly on my face. I have sensitive skin and have had absolutely no irritation or problems with this product. I highly recommend it worn alone or with your foundation as a sunscreen protector. There is a tint-free version which I never tried, so I can't speak to that.I had my husband order this for me. Great product. I've been using it for a while now. I use it as a base for my foundation. Lightweight with great features.
USPS was a problem this time as it went through multiple locations from NY to Dallas to several places in Peoria IL and my address was correct. It was later than the estimated date and the tracking number finally changed and it arrived quickly. Not sure what was going on but have had that happen before with other other products NOT shipped through Ebay. Definitely a USPS issue! No criticism of the owner or product. The best mineral sunscreen I've found and I have continued to use it for several years. Very gentle and effective
This is the only sunscreen I use. Reads ‘Clear’ on box, but it is tinted. It needs to be so you don’t look like a snowman applying zinc oxide. VERY gentle on skin. I am very fair skinned and I mix with a bit of Missha 13 so my face has a lot of protection with no tacky make-up look. Both products are sheer with very light coverage. Never have a problem with rosacea breakouts or cystic acne from these products. Normally, if I apply other sunscreens my skin looks greasy and breaks out. This is the only product I can find that doesn’t burn my eyes either.This is the only sunscreen I use. Reads ‘Clear’ on box, but it is tinted. Even if you don't wear sunscreen anywhere else - definitely use it on your face. This has the mineral sunblock in it, yet tinted, so no white zinc on your face. This covers easily and nicely. Not much is needed. And 46 SPF. If you wish, you can easily put your foundation on over this. For me, this is good enough for most days. Had been using another brand that is also very good, yet twice as expensive for the same size. This brand was in my dermatologist's office when I went for my annual exam. Even if you don't wear sunscreen anywhere else - definitely use it on your face. This has the mineral sunblock in it, yet tinted, so no white zinc on your face. This covers easily and nicely. Not much is needed. And 46 SPF. If you wish, you can easily put your foundation on over this. For me, this is good enough for most days. YIKES, expensive, but recommended by dermatologists.
My dermatologist recommended Elta MD sunscreen, so I believe it's top quality in the sunscreen market. The tint is great, and replaces the need for foundation or tinted moisturizer to smooth complexion. While yes, I believe it's a terrific product, the price is prohibitive for following the instructions to put a lot on and apply it often. So I find myself rotating applications with less expensive sunscreens.My dermatologist recommended Elta MD sunscreen, so I believe it's top quality in the sunscreen market. The tint is great, and replaces the need for foundation or tinted moisturizer to smooth complexion. While yes, I believe it's a terrific product, the price is prohibitive for following the instructions to put a lot on and apply it often.
