    Best Scrooge rendition ever, in my opinion.

    I love the movie. The quality of the product and manner in which it was shipped are outstanding. The period look of the movie and perspectives when flying above the buildings. There's chimney sweepers up there. :) Something onemight not think about from the lower levels. The familiar voices, some of which are Jim Careys. I just love the whole thing. The look, the flow, everyone being merry inspite of the cold winter. How Mr. Marlow, in the coffin with coins over his eyes, goes frome line drawing to smooth animation towards the beginning i don't believe I've ever seen that before. And like Polar Express it allows the kid in you to think that it's not too cold ,during a snowy winter, to be outside in your pajamas or night gown. I could binge watch this movie over and over

    Age old tale done well

    I wanted to "see" Jim Carrey in this production, but quickly realized it was only his "voice" and not his real self. The animation was good. Story line is the same as the book. I now have several versions of the story on DVD, so this is a good addition to the collection.

    disney's a christmas carol

    I feel the movie followed Charles Dickens pretty well the animation was superb it could be scary for very small children so I would say it should be rated for 10 and up of course parents can use there own judgement. but I extremely enjoyed it I t is one of my favorite Scrooge movies

    a great fun movie....for sure!!!!!!!!

    Hell yeah I enjoyed it all because it had Jim Carrey in it and this was a very good animated movie in which I enjoyed a whole bunch...and you should to also..

    A modern Christmas classic

    A faithful update of the Dickens classic! It might come off as slightly creepy to some but, that's the source material at work. The casting is superb and the excellent usage of special FX is both appropriate and provides a modern veneer to this timeless tale. Carrey nails the evolution of Scrooge and director Zemeckis adds another entry into the seasonal canon. All told, it's a beautiful presentation, including the spookier aspects of a 'ghost story' and easily the best of the 'animated' attempts to bring the story to life. Many people many well find it easier to emotionally engage with Ebenezer via the suspension of disbelief afforded by the lush HD/3D available for digestion (I know I did).
