    So nearly Very Good!

    I bought this one for my sister - a kind of Trojan Horse to wean her into the digital world! The Echo Dot does pretty much everything you'd expect, with an exceptionally quick ability to recognize your speech from very few command or examples. It's great fun and can complement learning I'm sure. My sister will primarily use it for music, and there lies the problem. Having repeatedly failed to link it to a service (to avoid repetition of "...with Spotify", for example - that synchronisation just doesn't work - and looking through countless forums (fora?) it seems to be a universal problem. Unfortunately it's a small but significant shortcoming, so three instead of five stars.

    Changing radio stations or choosing music you instantly want to listen to is so easy with my echo dot. So many other things I can do with it but haven’t got that far yet but very happy with it 😊

    Echo Dot Gen 5

    I refused to have one of these for a long time but my dad was given one as a birthday present. I have to say I was so impressed with what it could do I had to get one for myself. Kicking and screaming into the 21st century but I'm getting there!
