    however. I did purchase an Items (1924 Calvin Coolidge record) from Wilwhe 7919. Only the seller refused to send me the item. He backed out of the sale. To me this was wrong.     Recipes are vague and poorly written. They are not indicative of Brennan's food.

    I was very excited to receive this book, it arrived on time and in great condition. I own over 80 New Orleans/Cajun cookbooks and after reading through it this one is at the bottom of the barrel. The recipes are poorly written. The description of the process is vague at best. There is a lot in the ingredients list of most recipes that is missing. I've eaten at Brennan's many times and nothing in this book is reflective of their menu. I do realize this is a 1961 copyright which is before I was born but I cannot believe Brennan's stayed in business serving food like this. I have Louisiana cookbooks that were made by church groups and women's associations as a fundraiser that have much better recipes than this book. If I was a Brennan I would be embarrassed.
